ALA - ALC

This great "fountain of youth" formula combines two heavily researched ingredients for turning back the hands of time. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is the biologically active form of the amino acid L-carnitine and has been shown to protect cells throughout the body against age-related degeneration. Most clinical research has focused on the brain, where improved mood, memory and cognition have been observed. By facilitating the youthful transport of fatty acids into the cell's mitochondria, acetyl-L-carnitine better enables dietary fats to be converted to energy and muscle. Lipoic acid is an "universal antioxidant” because it is both fat and water-soluble and it may be useful for counteracting brain aging and increase in antioxidant defenses.

CONTENTS 
Acetyl-L-Carnitine - 525 mg
Alpha Lipoic Acid - 225 mg
Other Ingredients: Gelatine, magnesium stearate and stearic acid.

Serving Size – 1 Capsule.

Suggested Use – Take (1) one to (2) two capsules daily as a dietary supplement.

NOTE

• Because of lack of long-term safety studies, ALC and ALA are not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers.
• ALC may possibly cause mild gastrointestinal symptoms in some individuals. These may include nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps and diarrhea.
• ALC may cause increased agitation in some with Alzheimer’s disease.
• Those with seizure disorders should only use ALC under medical advisement and supervision. It could cause an increase in seizure frequency and/or severity. The incidence of this is low.
• ALA may lower blood glucose levels in those with diabetes or glucose intolerance. Blood glucose should be monitored and antidiabetic drug dose adjusted, if necessary, to avoid possible hypoglycemia.

CAUTION: This product is manufactured and packaged in a facility which may also process milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and crustacean shellfish.
